Electrode configuration by melting duty

The same molybdenum material fails differently in different furnaces and media: glass melt mainly causes chemical erosion and current load, electric fiberizing stresses high-temperature melt erosion and continuous operation, and salt electrolysis emphasizes impurity control and dissolution loss. The table below summarizes typical processes, forms and selection priorities by application. Final sizes must be confirmed against furnace drawings and duty parameters.
